Harvest time

Harvest day has arrived and the garlics have had a good life in the veggie plot. But like every other veggie or fruit, sooner or later the harvest will catch up. Just like the first batch of garlics, these garlics weren’t that big. I do hope that watering them these past few days has given them some extra energy and made them more tasty or something 🙂 Guess we’ll find out soon enough!

After taking them out of the ground and removing all the dry leafy bits, I saw that some had started to foul a bit and one even had a big fat worm thing in it. To me it makes sense to just quickly have a look at them all to make sure that they aren’t put away for storage with any potentially unwanted guests.

The great thing about this harvest though, is that the tomatoes now have lots of space, which I’m sure they’re very happy about.
