Mint anyone?

Where we live, we are truly blessed with tons of very yummy mint. Having said that though, it has the main property that weeds have, it grows like crazy and just takes over all the space it can get its roots into. The root network is unbelievable, a very thick and dense expanse that is difficult to contain. Our mint patch (as it is now) really needs cleaning out again at some point, as we’d prefer to have other fruits or vegetables growing there, not just mint. Anyway, we’ll never be needing/using SO much mint anyway, so it’s better for the plant to be trimmed more regularly and the young mint leaves taste better too!

We mainly use it for tea, mint tea 😉 It has become our staple drink for when we watch a movie, or do any other activity that requires a pot of tea.
