Day 97: Canceling this experiment

It’s been quite a while since my last entry, as there was just nothing happening to the watermelon plants. They just stayed the same size and what’s even worse, were starting to foul or something. The leaves started to get black, which is never a good sign 🙁

There were still 2 little plants in the green house, but they too were getting black leaves. Interestingly enough though, they had a few little flowers buds.

I have to admit, it was an experiment, as the season was totally wrong, but it was worth it. So for next year, when the season is right, there will be a second go at this 🙂
