Day 30: Finally, some leaflets!

Already a whole month later and the salad has finally managed to breach the surface! Wow, this has taken such a long time, I was starting to think they wouldn’t be growing at all. As they look very fragile and thin, I’m really hoping they will be able to grow stronger, now that they get sun energy boosting them.

It was a very pleasant surprise to see them though. They must have popped out a few days ago, but I just didn’t see them as there are many little leaves of weeds around too. Lucky I didn’t just give up and instead waited a while longer. Let’s see how they come along.
