Day 1: First salads

Salad must be the most classic thing to plant in the home garden, yet I haven’t done it, till now. This is a red salad bowl lettuce (I know, really long name :-p) which is supposed to be an all year round salad.

I’ve just dug up a few little holes and sprinkled a quite a few seeds into each one. The seeds are really tiny, so I’wasn’t sure how many should be sowed. The packet wasn’t really helpful either, it didn’t say anything.

Let’s see how well this grows in winter, shall we…
