Redding chillis

Our chilli plants have been very active this summer and are now approaching the phase of turning red. Interestingly though, I remember last year, when the chillis would first turn black-ish and then slowly go red. This year only a small number have darkened a bit. The ones that are already red now seem to have passed that phase and gone straight from green to red.

P.S. I know that the word “redding” actually means something else… not today!
(Although it might fit the definition “deliver” or “prepare”).
