Grown too far

After all this time the salad has grown like crazy! Way too much if you ask me, they should have been harvested ages ago. Now they’ve become plants, they seem to have passed the salad stage 😀 But I’m pretty sure they’re still edible and we’ll try it in a few days.
Looking at the way they’ve grown, for next time I’ll space them out better and plant less. This time I planted quite a few seeds in a small area, as I didn’t know how they’d grow and especially how many of the seeds would actually sprout. Looks like most of them did, not leaving each other that much space. So there’s many salad plants but only a few are big salads. Most of them have a big stem with only a few leaves on them, which makes perfect sense, as there just wasn’t enough space :-p
Well, next time will be better as I’m planning to plant another batch soon, meaning they’ll be growing when the weather is sunny and warm, as opposed to cloudy and cold (from the winter time).
