Time for a clean up

Today was a beautiful day for gardening 🙂 Since I haven’t been tending to the garden that much the past few days, today was the perfect day for a clean up. The weeds and other little plants have seemingly taken over!

I started nice and early and it was just so much fun, I seem to have forgotten that the past weeks. Taking a closer look at the state in which the garlics are in now was great. The stems are getting thicker and thicker, just imagining how the garlic under ground is getting tastier day by day. I’ve also mixed some compost into the earth to give them a helping hand.

It still hasn’t really rained yet this winter, so I’m still watering manually, which I hoped would stop for a while to give me a break. But almost being “forced” to go out and water them makes me enjoy the whole life cycle and enables me to see the magical transformation.
