Talking of food
Most of the entries so far have been about growing and taking care of the tomato plants. This one is dedicated to eating them!
Obviously the main reason for growing fruit and vegetables is to eat them when they’re ready. The taste of homegrown things is just so much better than anything bought. I’m convinced that the love and energy that went into care-taking also adds its special flavour 😉
With pesto or mozzarella, cooked together with other veggies and some tofu, just plain on their own, any way of eating tomatoes is delicious!
