Harvesting the last bunch

The final harvest has arrived and the last few nice tomatoes got transformed into another delicious tomato sauce, chilling in the freezer until added to a yummy meal some time. What a truly wonderful adventure, with a lot of lessons learnt in the process.

In these final pictures, we can see that even though the majority of the plant was dried out, there were still a few new shoots of fresh leaves and even a few flowers coming out! Unfortunately for them though, they didn’t make it much longer and the few tomatoes that were still green and growing, were doing so in such a slow pace, that they just couldn’t make it to the finish line 🙁

But with all the new things I’ve learnt, I will try to do better with the next batch.
